The wclSerialFeatures type exposes the following members.

 | Capabilities | The capabilities offered by the provider. |
| MaxBaudRate | The maximum allowable baud rate, in bits per second (bps). |
| MaxRxBuffer | The maximum size of the driver's internal input buffer, in bytes. A value of zero indicates that no maximum value is imposed by the serial provider. |
| MaxTxBuffer | The maximum size of the driver's internal output buffer, in bytes. A value of zero indicates that no maximum value is imposed by the serial provider. |
| SerialType | The communications-provider type. |
| SettableBaud | The baud rates that can be used. |
| SettableData | The number of data bits that can be set. |
| SettableParams | The communications parameters that can be changed. |
| SettableParity | The parity settings that can be selected. |
| SettableStopBits | The stop bit that can be selected. |
